Production Assembly Operator

Job responsibilities:

• Product Assembly:Perform repetitive tasks to assemble products or sub-assemblies, which may include installing, aligning, fastening, and fitting components together.
• Use of Tools and Equipment:Operate hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers), power tools (e.g., electric drills, nut runners), and occasionally light machinery safely and effectively.
• Reading Instructions:Follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and bill of materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate assembly.
• Quality Control:Conduct quality checks on own work and the work of peers to identify defects or deviations from standards. Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
• Testing:May perform basic functional tests on assembled units to verify proper operation.
• Packaging:Prepare finished products for shipment by performing cleaning, labeling, and packaging tasks as required.
