Production buyer

LGMG Mexico is looking for a PM Purchasing to carry out strategic sourcing and purchasing activities for assigned commodities (electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain), ensuring compliance with cost, quality, and delivery objectives, aligned with production needs and the group's global guidelines.
Main responsibilities:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the Mexico plant, aligned with LGMG HQ. Manage and develop relationships with global and regional suppliers. Support NPD/NPI projects and plant operations. Lead cost reduction and supplier performance improvement initiatives. Manage supply chain risks. Coordinate projects with the global sourcing team. Manage supplier onboarding and discontinuation.

Requirements:

Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related). More than 3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or commodity management in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of APQP and PPAP. Experience developing a supplier base in Nor...
