Production Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develops detailed manufacturing drawings using SOLIDWORKS and AUTOCAD software.

· Handles Engineering/ Design Changes (ECN) based on set procedures and flow.

· Closely coordinates with Development Engineer concerns related to ECN and drawing changes. Communicates with customers when necessary. Conducts meetings necessary to properly disseminate ECN information.

· Ensures completeness and correctness of drawings after trial stage using a standard checklist as guide.

· On-time releasing of drawings/ production pack based on target/ standard lead-time.

· Quickly corrects drawing errors as reported by other sections to avoid recurrence of same problem.

· Creates Manufacturing Standards and trains production staff about it.

· Closely coordinates with Production heads to quickly resolve engineering related issues.
