Production Engineer (Fixed Term Contract) – Weir Minerals, Isando (Onsite)

Purpose of Role: Implement strategies to improve safety, productivity, quality and cost consistent with the business plan.

• Safety First:
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviours in support of cultivating a world‑class safety culture.
  • Maintain the safety of all systems and processes in the Isando plant and implement world‑class safety practices guided by the Health and Safety department and senior management.
• Compliance:
  • Ensure the machine shop complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85: 1993).
  • Maintain the integrity of the ISO 9001:2008 quality assurance system within the machine shop, including product traceability.
