Overview

The Production Manager ensures that a culture of accountability is established and maintained.

To plan, organize and empower the production team to deliver their works safely, efficiently, on time, within budget and to the Austal standard.

• Establish a self-sustaining shipyard
• Develop a professional and competent team of shipbuilders in line with the shipyard development and project requirements.
• Ensures an ongoing commitment to Leadership Development.
• Promotes a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the Production department.
• Ensure that production risks are being tracked and mitigated as effectively as possible.
• Ensures that resources required for projects are made available.
