• Responsible for ensuring that your team meets production targets.
• Coordinate production plans with area supervisors.
• Coordinate the return of scrap.
• Plan a production schedule.
• Make decisions about equipment use and maintenance.
• Introduce improvements to the production process.
• Estimate costs and prepare budgets.
• Ensure that products meet quality standards.
• Responsible for handling internal and external audits.
• Halting production/withholding and stopping shipments to correct quality issues.
• Reporting on products or processes that do not meet customer requirements.
• Ensuring that processes generate and deliver the expected result.
