Production Planner - Contract (Barrie)

Title: Production Planner – 12-month contract

Location: 24 Napoleon Road, Barrie (hybrid)

Reporting to: Production Control Manager

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Firm and release work orders, performing material availability checks
• Review early/late reports to ensure all open work orders are accurate and current
• Monitor capacity requirements
• Communicate daily with Sales, Production Planners, Senior Planners, Team Leaders, Supervisors, Manufacturing Managers and Purchasing regarding parts issues and priorities
• Request overtime, part production transfers to other facilities or outsourcing as needed to manage bottlenecks
• Maintain planning information in ERP system
• Maintain resource calendars in ERP system
