Production Planner

Key Accountabilities

+ Production Scheduling & Capacity Planning:

+ Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to meet customer delivery deadlines.

+ Monitor capacity utilization and identify bottlenecks; propose solutions to optimize production flow.

+ Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure schedule adherence and address deviations in real-time.


+ Inventory Management:

+ Manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels to meet target service levels while minimizing carrying costs.

+ Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and avoid production delays.

+ Implement inventory control strategies to reduce obsolescence and improve turnover.


+ Demand & Supply Alignment:

+ Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align production plans with sales forecasts.
