Production Shift Leader

About the role

The Production Shift Leader oversees daily production operations to ensure targets are met in terms of output, quality, safety, and efficiency. This role leads and supervises shift personnel, coordinates with support departments, resolves operational issues, and ensures compliance with company policies, SOPs, and quality standards.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the production team and monitor activities within the assigned production area.
• Assist machine operators in troubleshooting technical issues requiring specialized knowledge and expertise.
• Assign machine operators and packers based on required manpower and machine schedules.
• Inspect operational workmanship to ensure compliance with quality and process requirements.
• Ensure the availability of materials and supplies for each work shift during operations.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team to ensure machines are in good working condition.
