Production Supervisor

BOORTMALT is a leading malting company with 3 million tonnes production capacity. The group operates on 5 continents with 27 malting plants. As Production Supervisor at our Prairie Malt Plant, you will manage all of the processing of barley into malt, including steeping, germination and kilning. You will set all process parameters while directing the work of Production Operators. You will contribute to site safety and food safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor daily production activities and set all daily production parameters, including responsibility for off shifts and weekends. Regular shift is 10:00am - 6:30pm.
• Supervise and direct production operators in the overall malting operational process. Manage employee scheduling, ensure completion of safety training and procedural training.
