Production Team Leader

Job description:
AECI Plant Health is seeking a suitably qualified Production Team Leader to supervise the production activities at the Company's Modderfontein production plant. This further includes safety, health, environment; quality (SHEQ), receipt and issuing of raw materials; and supervision of subordinates.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring that the weekly production programme and targets are achieved.
Checks in advance of scheduled production the availability of raw materials and packaging material.
Monitors production output and raw material usages.
In liaison with the Production Superintendent/Manager to determine the order of production to ensure adequate stock cover and optimum plant utilisation.
Supervise production and loading activities.
Ensures that labour is utilised effectively especially when production demands fluctuate.
Responsible for controlling consumable costs.
