PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Production Technicians set up machines, which involves interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tools, and programming the machine to create the desired part.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Technicians perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues, and repair or replace faulty components.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum requirement, with post-secondary education in CNC machining or a related field being preferred.
