Production Technician

**Production Technician, Sault Ste. Marie, ON**

When you join our team as a **Production Technician** , reporting to the team leader, you will perform various production-related tasks.

**What You’ll Do**

+ Stack and classify pieces of wood and operate different workstations from a control console on a rotational basis depending on production needs and the workstation.
+ Verify the quality of wood in transit and ensure compliance with Interfor’s quality standards.
+ Clean your workstation.
+ Train less experienced staff as needed.
+ Perform any other related duties as requested by your immediate supervisor.

**What You Offer**

+ Completed secondary school diploma (SSD).
+ Have at least one (1) year of experience as a day labourer.
+ Forklift certification is an asset.
+ Must be willing to take training on the different workstations.
+ Thoroughness, initiative, sense of responsibility, and independence.
