Professional nurse – x2 (temporary position) ascot park hospital

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Must be able to practice within your scope of practice as a Professional Nurse. Must have experience in nursing a ventilated patient. Must be competent with the Hospital's Policies and Regulations. Lead and supervise staff. Attend to patient care within the Ward. Attend to patient's complaints. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 (Matric) Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with valid APC. Must be either ICU trained or experienced. Must be prepared to do shiftwork (Night shift / Day Shift). Must be computer literate – MS Word & Excel. LEGAL AND EEO STATEMENTS
