Professor in the Malaria Molecular Biology and Epidemiology

You hold a PhD in Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.

You have a strong and internationally recognized research profile in malaria molecular biology and epidemiology, demonstrated through publications in leading journals, acquisition of competitive research funding, extensive international research experience, and an active international network of collaborators.

You have demonstrable qualities in academic education and experience in supervising master and doctoral students.

You can establish and maintain close partnerships between KU Leuven the Institute for Tropical Medicine (ITM). 

You possess organisational skills and have a cooperative attitude. You also possess leadership capacities within a university context.
