The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Basel is looking to fill the position of a Professor of Anatomy.

The Medical Faculty of the University of Basel is seeking to fill a Professorship in Anatomy starting January 2027. We are looking for an outstanding scientist with excellent teaching experience in Anatomy to strengthen research and teaching in the Department of Biomedicine at the University of Basel. The largest department at the university is home to 70 research groups and about 800 employees who collaborate to answer fundamental scientific questions, as well as applied translational research questions.

Your role will be to lead an excellent research group at the Department of Biomedicine, conducting creative and internationally competitive research in a field of Anatomy, preferably Neuroanatomy, and using model systems relevant to human development or disease.
