Program Aide

Responsibilities

• Attending to the general care needs of clients
• Ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of the clients
• Ensure that clients follow the planned routine and care plan
• Work with the therapist and counsellor on the implementation of new activities
• Support the team in coordinating and facilitating outdoor activities and excursions, including accompanying clients to ensure smooth execution and safety throughout the events
• Conduct group activities for the clients
• Motivate and assist clients in the participation of programmes and activities
• Prepare the necessary tools and equipment needed for the activities
• Manage and conduct regular inventory counts, ensuring optimal stock levels and overseeing the distribution of linen, toiletries, dry goods, and other supplies
• Any other duties as assigned by Centre Manager, Occupational Therapist and Counsellor
