Program Director for After School Care

Join PLASP as the RECE Program Director and ensure children receive high-quality after school care in Mississauga. Focus on leadership and program development.
In this role, you will lead the after school program at PLASP, designing engaging and supportive activities that meet children’s diverse needs. You are responsible for the safety, administration, and training of staff while fostering a nurturing environment. Your expertise in child development will shape your program plans in line with the CCEYA and support ongoing staff development and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee safety and quality in the program environment
• Develop age-appropriate activities that engage children
• Manage food preparation and program budgeting tasks
• Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance
• Ensure adherence to all licensing and health regulations
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years in child care and supervision
