The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) is a regional inter-governmental organization focused on advancing electronic media development among the countries of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP). Hosted by the Government of Malaysia and based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, AIBD leverages partnerships with national broadcasting organizations, regional and international bodies, and other stakeholders. The Institute uses its extensive infrastructure and networking mechanisms to drive innovation and collaboration in broadcasting, working closely with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, private entities, and leading professionals.
