Programme Assistant - Botany

Job Description

As a Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 5 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday.

Schedule

• Afternoon/After School shifts run between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary.
• Potential school holiday programme hours available (between 7am - 6pm).

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities.
• Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children.
• Helping the Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing.
• Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with the manager so everyone stays supported.
