General Profiling ( is a well-established, industry-leading steel service center, based just south of Johannesburg's CBD in Amalgam with over 300 staff and sales in the hundreds of millions. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Programmer. Duties & Responsibilities
Receive job cards and program the different jobs on the relevant machines.
Ensure that the machines are constantly running.
Complete priority job cards with urgency.
Follow instructions given by the Programming Manager.
Complete all instructions written in the nightshift book as a priority.
Address shortages that are authorized immediately and ensure correct paperwork is supplied.
All parts will be considered as new parts and must be taken from the appropriate drives.
Ensure all nestings are placed at the appropriate machine by 4pm Monday – Thursday and 1pm on Fridays.
