Project Accountant - Maternity Leave Replacement

Responsibilities

• Provide project accounting support and oversight on a portfolio of projects with multiple Project Managers. Review proper allocation of all costs and expenses to projects, and perform re-allocations as needed.

• Attend regular meetings with Project managers and Project coordinators on the financial status of projects. Ensure timely project reviews are performed, in preparation for month-end close. Review estimates at completion for both revenue and cost, for proper revenue recognition at month-end.

• Accurately reflect the financial status of projects by ensuring timely recording of all cost and revenue transactions. Coordinate and review with other team members who enter the transactions.

• Ensure project is setup in the ERP and updated on a regular basis including capturing change orders and PO’s. Review contract documents, client POs and backup documentation to ensure compliance with audit and ...
