Job Summary

The African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) recognizes that effective conservation outcomes depend on understanding and addressing the complex social, political, and economic dynamics that shape landscapes. In many areas where AWF works, conservation intersects with fragility, insecurity, and competing resource interests. Integrating Peace and Conflict Sensitivity (PCS) into our operations is therefore critical to ensuring that interventions do no harm, contribute to stability, and enhance collaboration between communities, government institutions, and other stakeholders.
