Project-based Safety Officer

Job Description:

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify hazards
• Implement and enforce safety rules and regulations on-site.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers
• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses
• Coordinate with the Construction Operations Manager regarding safety concerns
• Ensure compliance with DOLE, and OSH requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Civil Engineering or any related field
• at least with 2-3 years experience as Safety Officer
• with experience in construction site safety (high-rise is a must)
• knowledgeable in COSH and BOSH standards and regulations
