SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Project Buyer I that will be responsible for working with project teams and suppliers to purchase materials, supplies, equipment and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers: solicit bids, analyze quotations, interview prospective suppliers, and select suppliers along with evaluating supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery time
• Work with manager to develop profitable purchasing strategies and propose procurement solutions that deliver value and reduce risk
• Create and maintain procurement logs for each supported operating group project
• Negotiate and prepare purchase agreements and purchase orders. Ensure suppliers adhere to contractual terms and conditions, including timeliness and quality standards
