More specifically, the project design engineer will focus on gas sensors for detecting carbon dioxide, hydrogen, refrigerants, and more.
The engineer will develop sensor specific schematics, layouts, test and validate hardware, and leverage an internal product development methodology from project kickoff to start of production.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Design execution from project kickoff to start of production
- Engineering design that includes developing product requirements, creating prototype samples, mitigating risks, testing, developing new product cost estimates
- Project management of simultaneous projects
- Collaboration with suppliers to support project deliverables and timing.
- Develop robust engineering solutions, which solve customer problems, by collaborating with engineering peers, testing prototypes, and mitigating risks through design reviews and FMEA's.
