JOB OVERVIEW
The Project Engineer serves as the primary liaison between Ahunan (OVWPI) and project contractors, ensuring precise translation of technical documents, drawings, and contracts while upholding engineering standards and industry-specific terminology. This role combines civil engineering expertise with strong Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) and supports project execution aligned with sustainability principles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate technical documents, drawings, and contracts between Mandarin and English, maintaining accuracy, context, and style.
Consult with subject matter and technical experts to understand specialized concepts for accurate translation.
Ensure compliance with legal and technical guidelines in all translated materials.
Revise and edit final translations, providing feedback to project teams as needed.
Report progress and challenges regularly to the Project Manager.
