Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Project Engineer (Civil & Structural) is responsible for the proper/execution of civil/structural work to ensure conformance with plans and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Cost
- Estimate, monitor, and control civil/structural quantities (material, labor, equipment, and subcon).
2. Production
- Coordinate with the Cost & Schedule Engineer for the preparation of the baseline cost & schedule.
- Prepare and submit request for materials, labor, equipment, & subcon.
- Monitor and supervise civil/structural works.
- Submit weekly civil/structural accomplishment.
- Coordinate civil/structural changes with Design & Engineering.
- Recommend effective engineering solutions to field problems.
3. Quality
- Review construction plans & specifications for basic compliance with the prevailing Code and Standards of Practice.
