Barona Engineering is looking for a
Project Engineer
for its client Calogena, part of the Gorgé industrial group. Calogena is developing small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs) to deliver carbon-free district heating for urban networks. The company's CAL30 (35 MW) and CAL MW) modular plants are based on a compact, robust, and passively safe SMR design. Following the opening of Calogena's Helsinki office in 2024, the company is expanding its local team to support project development in Finland.
As Project Engineer, you will be a key player in preparing and coordinating early-stage project activities for future SMR installations in Finland. This role combines technical coordination, project planning, and stakeholder interaction. You will work closely with Calogena's delivery team in France and local partners to ensure smooth project initiation and compliance with Finnish requirements.
