Project Engineer (PE)

Role Summary

The Project Engineer supports project teams by providing technical field engineering, layout and GPS support, quantity tracking, and project documentation. This role helps ensure the work is built per contract plans and specifications, while also supporting project controls (cost, schedule, and change management). The Project Engineer must be adaptable, safety-focused, and able to communicate clearly with crews, supervisors, subcontractors, and owners.

Field Survey, Layout, and GPS/Model


+ Assist with GPS equipment and machine control: setup, troubleshooting, modeling, and exporting/importing surfaces as required for field use.

+ Review staking notes and grade information; verify layout for accuracy and identify discrepancies early.

+ Support grade verification and measurement tasks, including pit measurements and field quantity checks as directed.
