Job Description

 
  Permanent Full Time 
 The core purpose of this role is to Lead the delivery of Council's Roading Projects portfolio activities. You will ensure Council's roading projects are efficiently and cost-effectively designed and delivered in accordance with legislative requirements and that Council's strategic objectives and levels of service developed in consultation with the community. As a leader, you will grow your team members, supporting ongoing development.
 
  About you 
 The preferred candidate will have:
 NZDE (Civil), NZCE NZ dip (Highways / Civil) qualification or relevant tertiary level engineering qualification or equivalent experience
 Strong experience with project and contract management, building positive, productive relationships with suppliers and the community
 Excellent communication skills, particularly in the leadership context
 Experience working in Local Government or a Project Man...
