Project Security Lead

Te tūranga - The role

Lead the delivery of protective security solutions across a complex project environment. You will manage the day‑to‑day progression of the project security workstream, ensuring design and operational outcomes align with evolving threats, agreed national and international standards, and NZ Government protective security requirements.

This includes overseeing decisions on security systems and services procurement, ensuring the quality and integrity of security deliverables, and supporting the development of robust, fit‑for‑purpose security solutions. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will manage risks, provide regular reporting, and ensure strong alignment across workstreams.

You will also play a key role in building effective relationships, promoting security best practice, and driving successful programme outcomes. This is a fixed‑term position until September2027.
