Prospect Research Officer Remote, Canada

We’re searching for an experienced professional for the role of Prospect Research Officer.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify new prospects and rate prospects using internal information and leads, data mining, demographic searches etc.
• Using a broad spectrum of resources, research, organize, and evaluate a prospect’s financial capacity, ability to give, willingness to give, charitable interests, and connection to the organization.
• Monitor and communicate news, events and issues that impact the Foundation’s fundraising strategies and the philanthropic environment.
• Write prospect briefings to be used by fundraising staff.
• Conduct annual portfolio reviews with members of the Development team, along with quarterly opportunity reviews.
• Track all constituent relationship activity, profiles, research information and account management in the organization’s CRM.
• Lead the prospect clearance process.
