PROTEGE Quality Control

Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products (physical, chemical and microbiological tests) as per SOPs.
Perform in-line checks and document results accurately in QC records.
Verify packaging, labelling, batch coding, expiry dates and HALAL marking against specifications.
Identify and segregate non-conforming products; raise quality holds and support deviation/CAPA investigations.
Calibrate and maintain QC laboratory equipment (pH meter, balance, refractometer, etc.) per schedule.
Support internal and external audits.
Maintain QC documentation, COA, retention samples and laboratory records in good order.
Practise good laboratory practices (GLP), 5S and EHS in the lab and on the floor.
Support continuous improvement of QC processes and food-safety programs.
Perform any other duties assigned by the QA/QC Manager.
