This opportunity seeks psychiatrists with a Provisional CPSBC License to excel in a diverse range of mental health services for children and adolescents. Work within a vibrant inpatient unit and lead community-based programs, offering individual and group counseling. Participation in teaching and quality improvement efforts enhances the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Lead community-based counseling sessions for youth
• Provide approximately 1:5–6 days of on-call service
• Engage in Dynamic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and group programs
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and teaching sessions
