Psychiatrist - Locum

Overview

Locum location is Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) in the Emergency Department and Acute Psychiatric Unit as well as Community MHSU Clinic Intake Program. RIH has a 26-bed acute psychiatric unit and provides acute psychiatric services to a range of individuals and families from throughout the Interior Health West region. This unit accepts referrals from smaller regional hospitals, community mental health programs, primary care physicians and other departments of the hospital. The Community MHSU Clinic is an Interior Health-funded mental health clinic that provides clinical services to people living in Kamloops and surrounding areas. The Clinic offers intake services as well as clinical care through multiple clinic programs including, Substance Use, Early Psychosis, ACT, Intensive Case Management, Seniors Mental Health, Counselling, and Treatment Support and Rehabilitation.
