Job Description
Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Emergency Services and Inpatient Job - Permanent or Locum Tenens to Permanent in the Bay Area
Details/Requirements:
Opening a new child emergency program and an inpatient child unit around March 2026.
EPS: Minors under 18.
Inpatient child: Age 13 - 17.
Need is for 1 to 2 board certified child psychiatrists.
Prefer candidates with inpatient or emergency experience within the last 2 years.
Must be Board Certified Child Psychiatrist
For the child emergency program, each doctor will see up to 10 patients in an 8-hour day.
For the inpatient program, there will be 6 beds to start, anticipated to grow by an additional 6 beds every 3-6 months.
Hours: 8A-5P, Monday through Friday
No call.
100% onsite services, no tele health.
No call.
Takes about 3 months for credentialing/privileging.
