Psychiatry - Geriatrics Physician

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVACHS) is seeking to add a full-time Physician (Physiatry) to the Geriatrics & Extended Care Service Division (G&EC Division) located in the wonderful city of Tucson, Arizona. SAVAHCS is the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy; medical students, residents, and fellows rotate at the facility.

Position Information:

The Physiatrist must practice only within the scope of his/her training, experience, and competence. The physiatrist should provide care throughout the full spectrum of physiatry care and that which represents the prevailing standards of physiatry practice. To this end, physiatrists should participate in a regular program of continuing education. The physiatrist will provide care in an inpatient physiatry consultation service as well as in an outpatient general physiatry clinic.
