Psychologist – Substance Use and Mental Health

Support the Transitional-Aged Youth at The Royal as a Psychologist specializing in substance use and mental health. Provide critical evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for clients aged 16-25.
This role in the Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders program demands expertise in psychological disorders and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. You will perform assessments, develop treatment strategies, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Also, contribute to teaching and community outreach to build capacity in concurrent disorder treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver psycho-diagnostic assessments for complex disorders
• Conduct both individual and group therapy
• Consult with community agencies to improve patient care
• Oversee the supervision of psychology students and residents
