Psychologist

Job Summary:
The licensed psychologist position provides high quality of care to a diverse high acuity, outpatient population of children, adolescents and families in Upstate’s Child and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Services (CAIOS) program. The program is expanding to provide intensive services to families with younger children with severe emotional and behavioral dysregulation. The program utilizes evidence-based treatments (DBT - A, DBT-C, PMT, and ACT). The full-time clinician will conduct psychological assessments, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and parent coaching. The psychologist will provide consultation and coordination of care with schools and outside providers as needed. The Psychologist will contribute to the teaching and supervision of trainees in Child Psychiatry and Psychology.
