Summary of Job Description

• Appointment Scheduling (Booking, rescheduling, and cancelling patient appointments)
• Communicating with patients to confirm appointments
• Entering accurate patient demographic information into the system.
• Coordinating with physical therapists
• Handling scheduling conflictsand addressing urgent patient needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of four years degree related to medical or health allied
• Experience in a medical setting or receptionist role is preferred.
• Knowledge of rehab therapy treatments (e.g., physical, occupational, speech therapy) and medical terminology is often required.
• Proficiency in computer software, specifically EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and Microsoft Office Suite.
