About the Role
As Publishing Director in HMS you will be the publishing voice on one specific overarching STMJ strategic initiative and implementation plan. You will lead a team of Publishers who manage journals with a focus on strategic planning, portfolio development, financial performance, and fostering strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, and on developing your team.
Responsibilities
Drive strategies and implementation plans for priority strategic initiatives that fulfil STMJ goals;
Lead a team of publishers to ensure specific journal plans fulfil overall PMG goals, the growth and development of each team member, and a psychologically safe and inclusive working environment;
Lead strategic planning & portfolio development and financial performance at the PMG level by collaborating with strategy, marketing, society, finance, and sales;
