Pulpit Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and control the rolling mill through the pulpit control system
• Adjust control settings based on production requirements and supervisor instructions
• Record and report production data, downtime, and any abnormalities during operation
• Assist in troubleshooting and coordinating maintenance activities when required
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the pulpit area

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial disciplines
• Experience 1-2 years as a pulpit operator with hands‑on experience in a Heavy Section Mill within a steel company or related industry
• Basic understanding of rolling mill operations or steel manufacturing processes
