Pulsed-Power/High Voltage Engineer

Company Description

Bamalwa Tech is an early-stage defence startup based in Kolkata, building phased-array High-Power Microwave (HPM) directed-energy systems for counter-drone and area-denial applications. We‘re developing a modular, solid-state-style alternative to bulky tube-based sources — designed to match the performance of far more expensive systems at a fraction of the cost, for Indian operational conditions. We work closely with academic partners as we create a validated prototype.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site junior role (0–3 years) in Kolkata for a Pulsed-Power Engineer. You‘ll simulate the pulsed-power chain that drives each element of our HPM array — pulse-forming lines, switching, and high-voltage charging — working from architectures and specs set by our team. It‘s a hands-on R&D seat well suited to a recent graduate who‘s strong on circuit fundamentals.
