The Town of Burlington is seeking an individual to perform skilled manual work for the Water & Sewer Division related to the general operation, maintenance and repair of wastewater collection systems under the direction of the Superintendent of the Water & Sewer Division.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
+ Service, maintain and repair pumps and auxiliary machinery and equipment
+ Daily readings of pump station meters and gauges; maintain charts, records, and logs of activities
+ Install, maintain, repair, test, and adjust machinery used in the sewer collection systems
+ Utilize work order system and other electronic devices to complete daily assignments
+ Operate specialized equipment including air compressors and mechanical drives
+ Operate and maintain gasoline and diesel engines
+ Assist in snow removal oper...
