Purchaser (Container Vessels)

Manage end-to-end procurement of technical stores, spares, consumables, and services for assigned container vessels. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery timelines in compliance with procurement policies. Review and process requisitions from vessels via procurement systems (e.g., AMOS, ShipServ, or equivalent platforms). Issue RFQs, analyze quotations, conduct commercial comparisons, and prepare recommendation summaries for approval. Coordinate logistics for delivery of spares and stores to vessels worldwide, ensuring timely supply aligned with port calls and operational schedules. Monitor budget utilization per vessel and ensure purchases are within approved technical budgets. Maintain and develop vendor relationships, including performance evaluation on pricing, quality, and delivery reliability.
