Job Description
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery schedules
- Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related procurement documents
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers to achieve best value
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with concerned departments to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Verify delivered items against purchase orders and invoices for accuracy and quality
- Coordinate with Accounting for invoice matching, payment processing, and record-keeping
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, and purchase reports
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal controls
