Purchaser (Tanker Vessels)

Manage end-to-end procurement of spare parts, stores, lubricants, and services for assigned tanker vessels (Crude, Product, Chemical or LPG). Source, evaluate, and negotiate with approved marine suppliers globally to ensure cost competitiveness and timely delivery. Review and process purchase requisitions raised by vessels, ensuring technical specifications and maker references are accurate. Obtain competitive quotations, conduct commercial comparisons, and prepare purchase orders in accordance with company procurement procedures. Liaise closely with Technical Superintendents and vessel crew to clarify specifications and urgency of requirements. Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely shipment and delivery to ports worldwide, considering trading routes of tankers. Monitor delivery status and follow up on outstanding orders to prevent operational downtime.
