Purchasers and Canvassers

Responsibilities

1. Canvass of BOM for bidding and for costing
2. Assist sales in preparing for bidding from costing to closing of bid docs.
3. Coordinate with technical (TOR TEAM) with the compliance of offered equipment.
4. Canvassing of purchase requests.
5. Short listing of credible and accredited suppliers.
6. Negotiate/haggle of prices with accredited suppliers.
7. Negotiate for better terms.
8. Improve/add to suppliers’ database
9. Report/coordinate with the senior purchasing officer/manager regarding purchasing matters
10. Assist Purchaser in follow ups ofdelivery of goods based on order from suppliers
11. Answering phone calls
12. Encoding files and documents as may be assigned
13. Preparation of documents and reports as may be assigned
14. Assist the accounting department as may be deemed necessary by the accountingmanager
