About the role

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join their team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the procurement and purchasing activities that are essential to the successful delivery of the company's construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist the Purchasing Department in sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for ongoing construction projects
2. Liaise with suppliers to obtain price quotes, negotiate terms, and place purchase orders
3. Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including invoices, contracts, and inventory levels
